Urban Indigenous Vaccination Clinics in Sioux Lookout

Individuals from a Matawa community, over age 18, and living in Sioux Lookout are eligible to receive their vaccine at the Sioux Lookout Vaccination Clinic on April 14 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – by appointment only. Call the April Root at (807)-737-6069 to book an appointment or ask any questions. Please do not call Matawa.

NWHU worked with Tribal Councils, SLFNHA, and other partners to offer a vaccination clinic to urban members in Sioux Lookout on March 26, 2021. Similar clinics may be planned in the future.

Who qualifies: Urban members 18+ affiliated with the Shibogama, Matawa, Windigo, Keewaytinook Okimakanak (KO), IFNA, and Independent communities.
To register: Tribal councils directly contacted urban members and led the coordination of the clinic. Please contact your Tribal Councils for updates and more information.
