Presumptive Cases in Hospital = 8
Total Positive Cases in Hospital = 1
Positive Cases in ICU = 0
Patients in COVID-19 Care Unit = 2
Hospital Occupancy = 71.5%

Our Hospital is seeking staff and professional staff interested in redeployment to Long-Term Care (LTC) and Retirement Homes (RH), should the need arise. Thank you to the 25 people who have already volunteered. Your commitment ensures support is available to our LTC and RH partners.  Those who have a desire to help those most in need, a passion for caring for seniors, and the ability to be called upon if needed, are encouraged to join the roster. Interested individuals should submit their interest to the Human Resources Department via email at  

On May 10, 2020, the province of Ontario declared its definition of outbreak in hospital. The Ministry of Health has defined a COVID-19 outbreak in a public hospital as:
Two or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases (patients and/or staff within a specified area (unit/floor/service) within a 14-day period where both cases could have reasonably acquired their infection in the hospital.
